Father teach me to gaze into your presence each dawn of the morning, for you are my streangth as you pour out new mercies upon me each day. Oh that I would taste and see your goodness, faithfulness and Truth; to delight in you with ever breath. To know how deep, high and wide your love is. Teach me to see opportunities to love on others~for it is not about doing things~but living love, bleeding the love of you in all things. Silent heart of mine, dispense thy grace received on those who are near that they might taste and see the Lord's redeeming love.

1 Corinthians 1:27-29
"But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise, God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of the world and the despised things-and the things that are not- to nullify the things that are. So that no one may boast before him."

This was the passage we were going over today in church as we continue in a series about serving. Afterwards I went to Starbucks and thought about serving and how this verse is so comforting and wonderful. I am amazed by God because it is through the weak that he works great things. I certainly do not feel like I am capable of accomplishing anything big in my life, nor do I feel wise, or strong; Yet it is through brokenness, the "lowly things" and the "things that are not"- that God works his divine power. Oh what Joy in knowing God will accomplish his great works in a life, the world despises. For as he operates his plans by the "foolish"His name receives all Glory! Thank you Lord for choosing the weak, lowly, foolish, and despised as your method to nullify and shame the things that are.

Last Sunday was the Super Bowl, I went to a party and it was really fun!
There were about ten of us who went to Ryan's.
This is Ireta and Me.
It was also Dean's Birthday so we had cake and ice cream. We didn't have any little candles so we placed one big one on his cake. Surprise!

Last weekend I was in Nashville it was great. I got to see my Mom who was there for a conference as well as my Great Aunt and Second Cousin. Here are Some Pictures from my times there.
