And were off…Once again we (The Rijeka Tigers, as we like to call ourselves) are traveling…this times we are headed to Bosnia to visit with the team there. It should be a great week of fellowship…the train ride will be long and we are leaving Rijeka at 2am on the bus to catch the train in Zagreb at 8:45am…so it will be a long day of traveling to say the least…right now I am writing this blog to kill some time as we wait for 2 am to roll around…I think we might make dinner soon so that will take up some time I should read or do something more productive, but I just don’t feel like it…although updating my blog is a huge accomplishment…ok I will go now and stop wasting your time…

Wow I can’t believe how quickly time fly’s by…yes I know that I have been slacking off with the whole blog thing so I will try to make it up by updating it right now. So this last month has been crazy! Almost half the month we were traveling and the other half was spent in planning and prayer. Two weeks ago we headed off to Budapest and spent a week there at a conference. It was great the speakers were challenging and it was just nice to be with a group of 50 students who all love God. I think that worship during the week was by far my favorite part…I love to worship there is just something about singing to God that releases all the stress, worries and fears…it is uplifting and brings not only glory to God, but pure joy to my heart…
For those who have never been to Budapest here are some interesting to know: one the lions on the bridge were made without tongues (by accident) but it is made into a “joke” because they are unable to gossip; second it is cold in the winter, even the Danube had frozen ice floating in it; third never go on a tram without a ticket otherwise the fine is 2400 forent (about $12.00) However in Zagreb it is 150 kuna ($25)…Fourth the Turkish baths are nice although it is defiantly a cultural experience ☺ Fifth goulash soup is amazing!!! Yes that means I of all people ate beef and I liked it! Sixth if you want to eat at burger king or McDonalds there are a plethora to choose from as they are like starbucks with one on every corner…One of the BK was three stories high…Seventh Budapest is home to the second largest Jewish synagogue in the world…Eighth snowball fights are great outside the basilica that took 100years to build…Ninth they have coffee to go!! Tenth the streets in the middle of the city were made to form of a star...
