Stained Glass

Like glass that is shattered into millions of pieces,
then placed vigilantly together forming a picture of beauty;
I too am shattered awaiting for the King to create me into
a picture of His Radiant Glory.

For those of you who don't know I bought a car the other week! It is a 94 saturn wagon...however I think my family has a curse on us when we buy cars as within a week of getting the car one of the hoses to the radiator broke: but this won't be hard to fix and I love my car and it is a blessing from God so no complants...

Today my Dad, brother and I went to the Air Races in Stead a city outside of Reno. It was the first time I have ever gone and the Air Races have taken place for years! I had a lot of fun and this event is up there on my lists as a must for everyone...

Last weekend (sept 9th) I went to the Hot Air Ballon Races with my brother and sister. We got up at 4:15am to get to the park. It was beautiful! I love this event, it is by far one of the best in Reno. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Here for but a second in the scope of Eternity
Each of us Ever fading into the abyss of Time
One Life, One small amount of time to live

For What Purpose?
To gain knowledge, respect or wealth?
Is not life more than those empty things?

In the span of all time we are each but a breath
Falling from existence like a shooting star
One Life, One small amount of time to live

For What Reason?
Are we here to live for today indulging in mindless thrills?
Are we not capable to see how unsatisfied they leave us?

Time brings death closer as our lives dwindle away
We are forgotten in this world, Leaving as we Came
One Life, One small amount of time to live

For what is Life?
Is not God the one who made all things?
Who Gave us life? Who will bring death?
Is not life made for the created to Glorify the Creator?

Last Wednesday my sister and I went up to Lake Tahoe to hike. We took the trail up to Eagles Lake. It was beautiful!
